New Zealand-born Lochlain Stonehouse is an independent makeup artist who is known for his multidisciplinary approach to beauty and progressive values within the beauty brands in which he has represented.

Starting his career at a MAC Cosmetics counter, Lochie would go on to spend 6 years with the brand, working both backstage and in the classroom as an educator. 
 
Eventually departing Estée Lauder, Lochie joined the L'Oreal group. Appointed as the Director of Artistry for L'Oreal Luxe, Lochie oversaw internal education and artistry for luxury beauty brands; Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Giorgio Armani Beauty, and Lancôme.
 
Stepping down from his role in 2020, Lochie now focuses on his career as an editorial artist and independent contractor, residing between Sydney Australia and his hometown of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
